Club Highlights

In recent years, the Club has been very successful in its mission to enhance local area volleyball...

Ø      Every year since 2002, we’ve fielded at least three, and as many as seven teams that have all done an admirable job representing the Puget Sound Region.

Ø      Among these teams, the 2005-06 StrikeForce United women’s team placed FIRST in the Puget Sound Regional championship and then continued on to New Orleans to become the USA Volleyball Women’s “B” National Champions. Way to go ladies!

Ø      We’ve hosted clinics taught by professional beach volleyball players

Ø      Last summer, for the 3rd year in a row, our board members coached mini-camps for area youth, in partnership with the Seattle Parks and Rec Department.

Ø      Each summer, our popular “Duke and Duchess” tournaments grow in number and demand. To date we have held 31 of these fun events.  Many of our past winners are on display in our photo gallery.

Club Profile

StrikeForce Volleyball Club was founded in 1979. Briefly named, “Sons of Thunder”, the club initially consisted of a single men’s “B” level team.  However, over the past two and one half decades, the organization has grown, both in numbers and in philosophy.  The Club has recruited a group of dedicated volleyball enthusiasts to help in managing a more diversified set of goals. Whereas the original aim was to simply field, “one winning team”, the goal of today’s StrikeForce Volleyball Club (SFVBClub) is to offer an opportunity to anyone with a desire to play and improve.

Sponsorship Opportunities

The associated costs of organizing teams, tournaments, clinics, and travel for the Club can be formidable. We are currently seeking personal and corporate sponsorships to aid in offsetting some of these costs. If your company or organization would like to be a sponsor for the StrikeForce Volleyball Club, please contact Bill Foote, the club founder, at bill@SFVBClub.org.

SFVBC is now a 501(c)(3) organization. Your tax-deductible donation will be utilized to help fund volleyball clinics, classes, team equipment costs, and community services.
